Working with young people again makes me feel young however, they all keep trying to sell me on this idea of nothing mattering except what you perceive and that we all only exist in our own universe inside our heads. When you grow up and mature you stop thinking that way and start to understand that you affect everything. You are responsible for the people you choose to surround yourself with and each thing you decide can cause happiness, pain, sadness, joy and destruction in your immediate circle. Indifference doesnt win and there is a real thing out there called regret. So I say this to my young friends. Fight for everything you want. Dont accept things the way they are just because thats easy. Take care of your fellow man and remove selfishness from your heart. The great thing about being human is that we are experiencing things that someone else has gone through before us and we can just follow a blueprint. Thought is rarely original and feelings are nothing new. I love my story because I cant make myself quit anything I believe in and I fight to the bitter end every single time win or lose.
