Works. You can have all the faith ... the size of a mustard - TopicsExpress

Works. You can have all the faith ... the size of a mustard tree ... and still fail to achieve the fullest of faith fueled blessings. Take, for instance, your body. You can believe with all your heart that God will provide the energy that you need. Energy needed to complete the tasks assigned to your in His will leg of the journey. But, if you dont fuel up, with that which is given to you, by His hand of provision..... you are likely to find yourself at an unexpected pit stop. Recently, Ive encountered a few health issues. Mostly due to neglect. Not eating right and not sleeping well, as good rest requires. This landed me in a pit stop, assigned by my doctor. It seems as we get older, certain added responsibilities come into a needful view. Diet and exercise and not burning the candle at both ends are a few of the necessary precautions. Twould seem these are responsibilities that should not be neglected. Now, educated to the fact that Im not as young as I used to be.... I may ease back onto the track a bit more prepared and better fueled. A vehicle fueled improperly or not at all does not continue to run the race. Face in the mirror, Faith without works is dead. James 2:14-17 (NKJV) What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. Face, All Bible teaching of Truth begins in the heart of the listener (reader) By power of the Holy Spirit, we apply it to our own hearts first. Faith, without works, concerning physical need, require works. For THIS self, this means action is required on my selfs part. More attention to my physical need. James 1:22-24 (NKJV) But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man (woman) he (she) was. Have faith and put hands and feet and mind to the task of using what God has placed in your life, as ways and means, to achieve the proper fueling, believing that God will continually provide those needs. Believe like it all depends on God and work like it all depends on yourself.
