The Oil Palm Plantations Segment of Goodhope is primarily based in the Kalimantan region in Indonesia. The Group has a land bank of over 150,000 hectares under development and cultivation and a milling capacity of over 2.5 MT. Vacancies exist in the Goodhope Group for the following positions, with the need to travel to different operating locations based on work requirements. Workshop Assistant [AW] Job Description Establishing and managing large scale workshops, maintaining more than 200 heavy equipment/light vehicles such as excavators, dump trucks, tractors, cars Manage and maintain machinery such as generators, water pumps, etc Ensure all machinery, equipments, and vehicles of the plantations are maintained in good order and implement required policies and procedures. Establishing an efficient operation of mechanical workshops within the group plantations Identify long term requirements to support the rapidly expanding plantations Plan develop & implement cost effective solutions across the group plantations in order to achieve company productivity targets Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical) or equivalent. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferably senior staffs specializing in maintenance/repair (facilities & machinery) or equivalent.
