WorldWide SolutionZ is first and foremost a family oriented business owned and operated by Marelize van Niekerk-Venter and her son Ruan van Niekerk-Venter. WorldWide SolutionZ has roots going back to 1999 when Marelize found herself alone with two young children and a baby on the way, needing to make a living for her family . Over the years, WWSz has evolved from a one-woman endeavor to not only make a way for herself and her kids but to help other struggling families in trouble as well, to an international community of like-minded individuals working together to alleviate hunger and poverty in the lives of those around us. When you listen to Marelize speak in the conference room and you read her bio, you recognize that WWSz – the company – is a bit of a happy accident. A very fortunate, successful accident stemming from her intent to help others beyond her own ability to provide funding to do so. After a decade of expanding traditional fund-raising efforts and tapping philanthropic organizations and individuals, she realized she still lacked sufficient funding to effect the change she wanted to bring to people’s lives.
