Beale I thought that that last quote was so spot on regarding the condition of the unsaved. They (like I used to be) are insane in refusing to obey Jesus’ command to turn from their evil ways and trust in Him alone with all their hearts. They are gambling with their eternal destiny, their eternal soul. They are headed for an eternal hell and God offers them a complete pardon, a sure way of escape through faith in Christ. Yet they cast off that offer and choose to remain under the righteous anger of God, under His judgment and curse. Pure insanity! They are blinded by their sins and by the god of this world the devil.
