Worst nights in our house - Pasta night...it means an all nighter for me. Kaleas sugars bounce all over the place - and even with a pump and a combo bolus I still have to test her every 2-3 hours. I hope for a cure one day...I work hard to raise awareness and funds for JDRF - there are so many promising trials going on right now, I want my little girl to know something other than Diabetes. Its just sad when your 2 1/2 year old can now poke her finger and test herself :( that just shouldnt be. On top of that her seizures/spasms have become worse, and she may have an infection of some kind...plus her arm. But through it all shes a champ, laughing and smiling...being silly. Anyhow it is time to test her and see how her sugars are doing and then sleep for a bit then back up to test her. I am on Diabetes burn out that is for sure...
