Would Your Child Know A Molester I have heard too many times "my child would tell me" from parents who later got a police call saying their child had been raped by an uncle. We need to make it clear what the no-no and foreplay zones are What good and bad touching is, who and when they can be touched. To avoid confusion or give suggestions to abusers, I will make my point simply. Acceptable is a hug or kiss on the forehead or cheek lasting less than two seconds. Unacceptable is a kiss on the lips or a long hug. Absolutely NO SECRETS other then a surprise for a loved one and never is it ok to keep secrets when touching is involved. This is what I have taught mine and it seems to have worked. The older ones have reported unacceptable encounters. All but one of the people are now in jail for child rape. Make it clear that if anyone asks to see them in any form of undress, they are to tell. If tickles go anywhere near their no-nos. tell. If he gets too rough or carried away, tell. If hugs linger or wander, tell.
