Would just like to say a big thank you to all who attended the Dominican Rite Mass on Monday night. We had, I estimate, about 100, great for a Monday night. I would like to give a big thanks to Bishop Fisher, the servers, the amassed choir, and to our faithful Dominican laity who provided hospitality and refreshments. I pay tribute to my good friend Chris Wolter for his direction and enthusiasm and to Ronan Reilly who pushed us to make this happen. My thanks also go to Stephen Smith, Scott McKendry and the boys for singing it was magnificent. Lastly I thank my brother priests, Thomas Azzi the celebrant (his first public Mass in the OP rite) he did a marvellous job, Fr Terence for being subdeacon with not much practice. We did it and I hope our Holy Father Dominic will continue to aid us by his prayers and especially our Christian brethren suffering in Iraq. God bless you and once again my heartfelt thanks for celebrating our feast day.
