Would just like to vent that I cannot believe how rude and utterly self concerned people are on the roads. I ride a horse, a very well behaved horse, quite usually along roads (if no foot path is available). But in the occasion like my ride today with 9 other people, we quite often ask drivers to stop there car so people can cross the road or a bridge safely, without causing harm to not only the riders but people in the car. Horses on qld roads HAVE right away, while still obeying road rules are meant to stop the car and turn it off until safe. Although I trust my horse in every manner, sometimes there can be the freak thing that spooks them and can cause an accident with a car that isnt being respectful. I do my best to avoid roads when I can and keep to grass and footpaths. But Im very disgraced with some actions from people that keep driving, refuse to slow down, yell at us or beep there horns. I just want to warn people how dangerous it can be, and no matter what please have a little patience esp of you see they are having a bad time.
