Would you like to contribute to a new therapy for the treatment of eating disorders? Do you currently meet criteria for an eating disorder or are concerned about your eating behaviours, eating attitudes and/or body image? Are you aged between 18 and 70 years of age? If so, you are invited to participate in the development of a new questionnaire by Ms. Tahnee Frahn, Master of Psychology (Clinical) Student, jointly supervised by Dr. Susan Simpson, Psychology Clinic Director at the University of South Australia and Dr Paul Delfabbro, Associate Professor in the School of Psychology at Adelaide University. This research has been granted approval by the Human Research Ethics Committees at The University of Adelaide and The University of South Australia. The survey will become a useful clinical tool in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders – the Schema Mode Inventory for Eating Disorders.
