Would you like to perform on the same stage as Josh Turner? Would you like the possibility of winning a scholarship and performing at the Kennedy Center? Would you like to be recorded and heard on the radio in Ireland? If you answered yes to any of the questions above, you need to apply for the Young Soloist competition TODAY!!!! We are just a month from the deadline. The Young Soloist competition is open to any vocalist or instrumentalist ages 14-24 with any form of disability performing in any musical genre. The competition is also open to groups with 5 members or less as long as all of the members fall in the designated age category and at least one has a disability. To be eligible for the State of Tennessee Competition, you need: 1) Complete the online application process by January 10, 2015at kennedy-center.org/education/vsa/programs/young_soloists.cfm, 2) Be available to perform on Tuesday, February 10 at Middle Tennessee State University at 7pm. This is when Josh Tuner will be performing and the State winner will be announced. The State winner does receive an award and cash prize.
