Wouldn’t you love to sit Indian style at work and be considered - TopicsExpress

Wouldn’t you love to sit Indian style at work and be considered professional? So, Val’s in Hollywood to be a nag about putting ObamaCare in the story lines, eh? They call it “nagging” now? It sounds like the original ObamaCare roll-out PR campaign didn’t work, so the push is on to revamp it and use a different set of tactics: celebrity endorsements, strategic placement in entertainment (i.e., Reese’s Pieces in E.T.), make the issue part of story lines as the main breast cancer awareness campaign did to great success in the 80′s, etc. Our gal Val took a field trip out west to make sure it happens. (No doubt with a booze free Secret Service detail.) So glad I didn’t give it all up to go out there and be a waitress at The Cheesecake Factory while trying to make it. Not sure how effective the “nagging” is going to be at this point if they want the message out in time for the midterms as in entertainment story lines and bookings are done years in advance unless somebody gets pregnant or dies. Television has a quicker time frame. They tend to only work a few weeks out. But movies? Production takes forever. The stuff due to be released this fall and over Christmas is either rolling with the finishing touches on casts being hammered out, on set, or in the can already. There is the alternative media, but why go out to Hollywood if that tactic is effective. Hmmm….. Val does give away that the target demographic is not playing ball. That seems to be what this is all about. At least in public. With Val “nagging,” lampooning the whole thing is probably off the table. Too bad for Hollywood. It would get higher ratings
