Wound up sawing a log this evening into planks for benches. Nice wide log for eastern red cedar here anyhow. 22" 24" & lots of red. I can see bass jumping, deer in fields, tom turkey strutting, horses, all stare back at me from the grain & many more critters to be found, just beautiful wood. Old log will make near 4 complete benches or 8 great backs. That kind of sawing uses the left arm mostly & got to work & rest some the wounded wing, so was great evening for me. Did get some more done on the horse, & it will be a neat looking bench. But my goodness cant wait to work this new log. But will wait till the horse & a couple gun stocks are completed. Not a bad evening, did pretty well.
