Wow... Can the news media report any story factually without sensationalizing it with egregious falsehoods? Those passengers dont know it yet... Um. Yes. Yes they do. They were aware that the engine quit and the pilot was going to land the aircraft in the water. Suddenly, the alarm sounds... That we be a stall warning horn. Goes off anytime you increase the angle of attack to the critical angle if attack... Like when you are landing... The plane is going down. Spiraling into the ocean. Spiraling. Spiraling? SPIRALING?!?! Are you kidding me? Have you seen the video, Newslady? They are approaching the water in a nose up, wings level approach... And slowly... Slowly enough that the aforementioned stall warning horn was going off. So the spin they chose was look at this sensational video of a horrific plane crash... Maybe it should have been more of a the aircraft suffered engine failure and the pilot did everything right for a water ditching that all passengers survived the ditching and exited the aircraft before it sank. Seems like the media would have rather have had everybody die and then they would have had a story. But since everybody survived they needed to embellish the facts to make it newsworthy. And this is why I dont watch the news. Oh, and heres a story with the same footage and the person that took it. Seems to be a little more...
