Wow! How can I possibly say thanks to my wonderful family and great friends who absolutely surprised me last night with a SURPRISE birthday party for my 70th birthday. I was excited to see my neighbors John and Judy LLoyd and Jack and Amy McMahon who were our neighbors for 15 or 16 years in Temecula. Then I saw our good friend Wes Engisch who drove all the way from the LAX area. And Debbie Pratt who came all the way from Huntington Beach. Three of my other daughters Liz and Nicola, two of Lindsays best friends and Kelsey Billingsley, Melissas best friend were all there. Our long time friends Richard and Denise Theetge, Gordon Jaus and his wife Carol, (Gordie was my college roommate when I was 19 so I have know him over 50 years). Lindas brother Greg and his wife Kathy, George Fortin. J.R. Jaus, George and Polly Rendon, Mike and Kelly Barrera, and Paul, Jeffs business partner were also there. I know a lot of you drove al long way to be there and I want you to know how much I appreciate that. Then there was my family. I am not going to name them all here as there just isnt enough room but I do want to acknowledge Jeff and Jenna for hosting everything, including the catered Mexican fiesta and obviously working before during and after the party. I cant thank you guys enough. Then, I find that my son Ryan spent many days filming and editing this funny video about me. There were some pretty funny characters such as my brother Mel who played the part of a TV preacher and Mike Barrera who played the part of running water. Then there was Gordon Jaus who played Saint Peter and my son Jeff who played Gabriel, and the accomplished actor JR Jaus who portrayed me in my new heavenly body and my son Toby who portrayed me in my not-so-glorified- hotdog eating-candy-covered -angel fan body that was allowed to come back to earth after St.Peter found me not so guilty of my lyin- cheatin- ways. Pretty funny stuff guys! And to my beautiful wife Linda who in the movie picked up on Tim McGraw before I was even cold. I love you anyway girl. Thank each one of you for making my 70th birthday one I will always remember. TWO DOGS HUMPING
