Wow... I dont listen to most new country because it is not country any longer. Almost all of it sounds like some teeny bopper Bullshit. Or as Colton said its what the drunk white girls like. For some reason we were watching the CMA awards last night, no idea why, but I made a few observations. Luke Bryant- Cant play guitar even though he tries to fake it Eric Church- Cant play guitar, he tries to fake it horribly, but dont even have a guitar pick Richy Sambora- Still rocks! Dierks Bentley- Sang some kind of rap song, and the lead guitarist was playing an SG (in country... really????) Justin Moore- Shut up and let Vince Neil sing the damn song so you dont butcher it so badly! Brad Paisley- Actually can play guitar and sing country in true country fashion, wears a cowboy hat, and dont have the stupid 5:00 shadow the rest of the posers have. Miranda Lambert- used auto tune and sounded like a duck, thought she was singing into a vibrator, and her lead guitarist was wearing a Mohawk (in country... really????) Florida Georgia Line- Country????????????????????????????? Darius Rucker- great job reinventing yourself from Hootie. I liked how he gave credit to OCMS for Wagon Wheel There is my review of what I saw of the CMA awards and todays Country Music. Take it or leave it, I DONT CARE!!!! Now... where did I put my Iron Maiden cassette tape????
