Wow! I slept in late again this morning. It must be the time change, going from south to north; how many time zones did we drive through? I know its not from the exhaustion of trying to hit the imaginary brake pedal on my side of the car; Elissa double-checked and her contacts were in the correct eyes for the trip home. That meant she actually had depth perception, so we didnt come up on slower traffic faster than a freight train barreling down the tracks without any brakes. And that also meant I wasnt yelling, Hun . . . hun. HUN! That was exhausting... Nope, theres no excuse other than being flat-out tired from the drive home. And all I did was sit there, like a lump, in the passengers seat. I wasnt the one with my fingers dug into the steering wheel in 12 hours of pouring rain and bumper-to-bumper traffic jams. Heres wishing everyone a day where we stop looking for excuses and just get up and do it! And be grateful for the people in our lives who get us where we need to go (literally and figuratively).
