Wow! I think Kirk is still racing! Just this time it is to be the fastest to recover! So after several days him being in a lot of pain to sit up or stand, today he sat up, stood up and walked down the hallway. Yesterday none of the therapists came by, (very frustrating) today everyone including someone to evaluate when he can go to the rehab center! So this afternoon he was moved to Enloe Rehab which is a couple streets over. This is great! The guy that transported him to the rehab was also the guy that worked on him track side so we picked his brain on what happened. Saturday Kirk smiled, Sunday he laughed a little today was busy and clarity was about the same as yesterday. Tomorrow is going to be super busy with lots of therapists and evaluations. Keep the prayers coming we still have a long haul.
