Wow....I thought all along that predictions for TTU to be anything above 7 wins was optimistic. After watching their first game I feel there will be a LOT of unhappy fans come December. The defense, while being VERY young is sketchy and porous as hell. Special teams did not look sharp at all against inferior competition. That makes 2 out of the 3 important phases of the game that Tech is dangerously weak in. Offensively yes they looked pretty decent. The good thing about all of this is that I could be wrong. Adjustments and teaching can happen week to week and improvement can happen...and miracles have been known to happen. There is talent in place for this to happen and if the fan base can suck up an average or even bad year, there is a TON of potential for the next few years coming up.
