Wow!!! I want to share something I feel very positive that I woke up to this morning. I have a couple past Credit situation that i GET to deal with... and I have been dodging phone calls for a while now. But with consistency and responsibility I get to start handling past issues. This morning I answered a call that I knew was a reporting agency..... I said Hello and this sweet beautiful southern bell voice said Hello is Debi there? I was going to hang up and so close to it, but I could here compassion in this womans voice. So I hesitated. She preceded to ask me how I was doing and I was drawn in. The conversation continued as she asked about me and about my life. She clearly cared not just about her job and collecting money but made me feel like she cared about me. She asked me how I FELT and what emotions I had and she wanted to know my passions and she celebrated my success and edified me over and over again. she was genuine and not fake. her voice was on my side. We transitioned and We spoke about her and her life and I found out she has a son, and that she had battled depression which caused her in less than a year to gain over 130 lbs! Well will self motivation and desire to change she walked into her first Zumba Class and chose to stop drinking soda..... and People, She has lost over 100 lbs!!!!! We spoke about her son and that she has absolutely changed the course of his life by showing him consistency and motivation through her actions and new eating/workout habits. she runs 3-4 miles every day, well excepts Thursday and Friday because she has to be in work early those days. But she doesnt let excuses get in the way anymore. I am so grateful that I answered a phone call which I have ignored SOOO many times. She has given me an amazing perspective and outlook. I also got to share with her what I do and introduce her to our amazing community of motivated and driven people all over the world making a difference. please leave her a comment celebrating her journey!
