Wow! Idont know where to start but Bangkok is far exceeding my expectations! I spent the day exploring the neighborhood around the hotel its a fairly touristy area popular with, backpackers. I dont even know how to describe how amazing it is! Street after street of amazing shops and restaurants nun two the same. Unlike most countries that Ive traveled through each shop is different from the next one. The most wonderful part is no one harasses you or bothers you unless you ask. Amazingly so far not a single beggar from what I can see. I feel safer here than I do in downtown Victoria who wouldve thought? So many cool things to buy here but Im just starting my trip so I better keep my backpack clear!
