I love how through the power of her voice and her penchant for storytelling she can bring meaning to an issue a lot of men, including myself in the past didnt quite understand that women have to go through after a tough relationship. Sometimes we men take it personally when a woman resists our physical advances in a relationship after theyve been through a rough time with a previous mate. You must have the introspective thought as a man to realize we men are trained since birth to bounce back quick; not let anything get to us too long. We cant think the same about our women. When a woman truly loves, she loves deeply and to be abused by that lover can leave scars, scars that most times you cant see. So as she embarks upon that new journey of love again, she will need time to heal those scars in order to truly love again. As men we should honor that and be an aid to that healing so we can be not just the physical lover she needs but spiritual lover as well.
