Wow. Thank you all so much for all the awesome birthday wishes! Feeling the love! The past year has been full of many life changing stepping stones, and I have no doubt in my mind that the next 365 days are going to bring me more happiness, success and freedom than I ever imagined. I recently realized that things that may be important to many or most other 25-year olds are actually not really all that important to me.. at least anymore. For me, its not about how many people come out on my birthday to celebrate. Its not about how drunk we get, or what fun bar were going to, and how much fun everyone else is having. For me, today symbolizes a commitment to myself to improve every aspect of my life - mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical - from here forward. Letting go of any baggage, both mental and physical, that doesnt serve me. Acknowledging how powerful I really am. Setting really BIG goals that Im ACTUALLY going to work every single day to accomplish- instead of the setting & forgetting pattern I seemed all too comfortable with. Getting comfortable being uncomfortable. Getting comfortable with MYSELF. LOVING myself. And then surrounding myself with other positive, successful, and like-minded people that are going to add to the quality of my life, and being okay with letting go of the not-so-healthy or trivial relationships. Exploring the world, changing lives, and making a difference. Thats the ultimate goal. Heres to the next 25 years!
