Wow... Time flies when your not feeling too well,,, For those of you who my not be aware that I was sick.... I spent several days in the hospital and then a month plus getting the ability to walk and take care of my basic needs again. But through it all..... Gods grace has seen me through it. I got to preach my first sermon this past Sunday in a little over 2 months. I can honestly say I missed it. I want to thank God for sparing my life. My wife is the second person I want to thank. She has had a very tough job taking care of me. She has had to feed me, dress me and do so many other things that were physically and emotionally rough on her. What a blessing. My children have been troopers too. They have helped daddy out so much. Way to go guys. I want to thank each and every person for their prayers and all the other ways you have helped. I dont know what I would have done without each of you. The work here at Catlett has continued. Tonight there was 422 boxes packed for Operation Christmas Child. We are not half way done yet. Praise God. A number of individuals have stepped up to the plate since LeAnns and my absence, Thank you for answering the call. Your work is not complete. The doctors say I have a ways to go. So go in strength and in faith to where God has called you. The first few days that I was in the hospital I was delirious and I saw a lot of things that werent there... I saw the floor change colors, things move around the room, and I thought they put me in a storage room for a whole night and LeAnn wouldnt wake up... I never was afraid during all of this. Frustrated maybe but not afraid. Isnt that what satan does to us. He often wants us to see things that arent there. Do we sometimes worry and become concerned of things that in Gods Kingdom.... DONT MATTER. I encourage all of you to have faith... Dont get distracted by what doesnt matter or often isnt even there. God will bless you for it. If you dont have a home church, Come visit us sometime and stay and be a part of the family of God here at Catlett Community Church.
