Wow! Well considering that in the past 6 months, Ive been tossing out my business card by hand and promoting my music via facebook and twitter, to see that Ive hit over 1300 listens on my soundcloud & 1000 listens on my bandcamp means sooooo much! Ive been so very passionate about music my entire life. My journey through the writing world began as a teen and later my first real recordings trickled out in 2005. With what started off as something more-or-less just to prove I could do, turned into something that created a fire within my soul. My journey with my own music has taught me so much about writing, about therapy, and about growing. In retrospect, I can honestly say I wasted a lot of time in my life making shitty decisions, but I also made a few great ones (my children)...though every decision I made, may or may not have set back my music, it still took me a long time to get myself together enough to want to put myself out there in a different light. But to see where I am now and how far Ive come already, makes me realize that not all who wander are lost. Goals are necessary. Inspiration can grow from anything...& Dreams really CAN become reality. To everyone and anyone who took the time to listen to lil ol me I GREATLY appreciate you! Whether you loved it or hated it, at then end of the day Im only doing this for me. But if at the very least, you were even remotely inspired by it, well that is what makes it all worthwhile...
