Wow. What a day we have had already! Moms having surgery today (to fix something that needs to be fixed), I got her to the hospital, and Emilys sitter told me Em had a 104+1 temp and I needed to pick her up. Brian was home, but his truck was at Firestone getting an oil change. So I left mom at Mercy, drove to the sitter, called the pediatrician, got their advice, called Firestone and requested they hurry due to family emergency, waited a few minutes while Ems fever went down, left Em with Brian, got a call from Firestone that the truck was ready, went back home to get Brian and Emily to take them back up to Firestone, ran through McD drive-thru, drove back to Mercy, and mom is in surgery now. Em is napping at home. I think I need a nap too! Please pray for mom & the doctors as she undergoes this procedure. She will be here overnight. Whew! What a day...
