Wow. What an emotional couple days its been since we wrapped #AltitudeAnonymous up at Copper Mountain. Our first festival brought so many thoughts and great memories into my head, so this may be a little long - but I have a lot of people to thank. Unfortunately, a lot of important people were not able to be up on top of the mountain with us on Sunday when I gave my closing speech, so here goes... Mahesh, I have to thank you for believing in this dream and joining me on this crazy journey we took building this together. It was very stressful at many points, but we did it right. We can grow this into something even more amazing and truly unique. The chairlift ride down with you on Sunday was something very special and a moment I wont forget. Thanks for being the best partner I could ask for and making Afterhours Anonymous what it is today. Yin and yang, brother. Joe, you are the most loyal and hard-working teammate we could have. Your dedication to AA is unbelievable and we appreciate all of the sacrifices you have made to push this dream forward. When things finally fully come to fruition, we will be able to take care of you like you deserve. Thanks for sticking with us. Adam Shep, Gary, Heather, Keri, Kyle, Krystal, Daniella, Quin, you guys rocked it for us in the weeks leading up to and all the way through the last moments of the festival. Whether it was helping with promoting/marketing/flyering, building amazing handmade decorations, putting up and breaking down the fest and volunteering your time at the festival tents, it was so crucial to making this work. You all are amazing friends and loyal supporters and you should take pride in the special experience that this weekend was. Thanks for putting up with me. So much love. Heather, Dave Minnick, Sami, Brian Clark, Kendra and Luciana, thank you so much for being reliable and driving DJs to or from DIA this weekend. You were great and took a huge stress off our plates. We know you sacrificed your time and energy to do that and we love you for it. Zack, Michael Morrissey, Attila, Eric and James, you put in time helping us break down during the weekend and you didnt have to. You guys are fantastic! Kelly Perry & Ray De Paz, we cant tell you how much it means to us that you believed in this idea enough to make such a gracious commitment to us (when nobody else was quite ready). Sugar Lips Mini Donuts - Colorado is wonderful and your contribution and support will never be forgotten. We hope you felt as good about our partnership as we did. Lee Burridge, Dj Tennis, H.O.S.H., Daniel Dubb, Justin Sloe, Little Mike (Phrunky Recordings), Greg Eversoul, Öona Dahl, Keepers., Dj adamROSS, Bones (Denver DJ), Hoang Luu...what a wonderful cast of stars for this first festival. Each of you were chosen because we feel a special connection to you and your music. You did not disappoint. Each of your sets delivered in its own unique way. We wanted to choose people who have been great supporters of AA and while we always wish we had room for more, there is nothing we would change about the lineup. Thanks very much for providing the most memorable soundtrack for this momentous experience. Nick Wilson, thanks for your excellent effort with stage management yet again. You are such a reliable, level-headed champion. Alexander WitchHop and Joe DjSolid Hernandez, FazeTwo Turbosound delivered in such a dope way all weekend. You guys were on top of your stuff (as expected) and made sure the sound was one of the stars of the weekend! Nexus Prod (Reid Warner, Chuck Williams and Travis), you guys committed time and energy to make this festival look beautiful. The lasers and LED in the Pavilion on Saturday night were especially perfect. We heard so many comments from people who were impressed. Thanks! HeyDeneé, Aldo & Michelle, you all busted your butts all day Saturday to make sure we documented the festival. We appreciate your hard work and cannot wait to see the pics and videos! Last but definitely not least, to all of our friends (new and old) who came up to Copper to support this weekend, we love you so much. So many of you flew in from out of town (which is a huge commitment). We hope it was worth your time and money. We strive to create special memories and experiences and it feels like this was the best one yet. You will always have a special place in our hearts as the people who trusted us enough to take a big chance on a new idea. You are the reason we do this and we cannot wait to bring you the second edition of ALTITUDE ANONYMOUS. As I said on the mountaintop, share your experience with as many people as you can, tell your friends they have to join you next year and spread the gospel! You have helped make our dream come true and fueled the fire that drives AA! Until the next time we meet on the dance floor...
