Wow, class of ’84 we have come 8 months. It seems as though we just recently got together at Jay Jay’s Café on Little Rd. for breakfast to begin planning our reunion activities. We have had so many good, fun, and productive meetings. We had a successful well attended basketball game hosted by the O.D. Wyatt Class of ’84 as we played the Class of ’84 from Dunbar High School. We had a successful “All White” event sponsored by the Picnic Committee. Then the Picnic Committee turned around and hosted one of the best picnics ever. We tailgated at Clarke Stadium for Wyatts Homecoming. Whew, we have already done a lot! But guess what??? It’s celebration time!!! This Friday, October 3, 2014, The O.D. Wyatt High School Class of 1984 “Meet & Greet” will be held at J.J.’s Corner Lounge 4515 Matlock Rd. Arlington, TX 76106, from 8:00 pm until 2:00 am. (You will be allowed to pay at the door for this event.) The O.D. Wyatt High School Class of 1984 “30th Year Banquet and Dance” will be held this coming Saturday, October 4, 2014, at the Central Library (Downtown Fort Worth) 500 W. 3rd St. Fort Worth, TX 76101, from 7:00 pm until 12:00 midnight. Then we will worship together Sunday, October 5, 2014, at 10:30 am with our classmate Pastor Billy R. Daniels, Jr. at First Greater New Hope Baptist Church 3135 Lomita St, Fort Worth, TX 76119. Class of ’84 we are excited as we continue to celebrate each other, life, and how God has kept us. The committees have worked extremely hard to ensure everything is done professionally and with style. We are ecstatic about our classmates who live out of town coming to share in the events. What a great weekend in store for the O.D. Wyatt High School Class of 1984 as we celebrate 30 years since we graduated from high school. F.Y.I. they are talking about some “Chaparral Punch.”
