Wow how cool.......... Here is an idea I cam across a few years back. And it works. You just have to be patient. I make these little vases filled with nectar for humming birds. If you go to your florist you can buy the little green capped tubes for flower bud. Snip off the point on the bottom just below the perforated line with wire cutters. Take a red silk flower and separate it. Just use the outside layer. With a hot glue gun take a small amount of hot glue ; dab it on the top of the vase cap making sure not to cover the hole. Place the outside layer of the silk flower on the cap. making sure the cap hole and bottom of the flower hole line up and is free of glue. Fill the vase with nectar. Viola; you have a handheld Hummingbird feeder. Then you can sit outside and feed your Hummingbirds by hand. This is a great craft for kids. And a great party favor for Tea Parties; little girl birthday parties or even wedding showers.
