Wow, so well written and from his heart! I try never, never try to post controversial topics, feelings, etc. I love keeping up with friends and relatives on facebook- no desire to debate. With that being said, as a teacher for more than 30 years, I can so relate to this message. When you love what you do, it s a blessing, but it can be so disheartening when there are so many armchair quarterbacks. More and more, everyone can do these jobs better and social media has given them a great platform to share their brilliance. If you want to make this world a better, safer place for your (our) children, get off your butt and get into the schools, volunteer in sports, support the arts, lead by example, and teach love and respect for our country, communities, and each other.
