Wow was all I could mutter out as I awoke this morning to gaze on the glory of another bright and beautiful day. I was lost in thought as I gradually tried to walk my way back into the past and reminisced on all the wondrous things God has done in this life He fashioned to inhabit planet earth, I still feel so lost for the choicest of words to appreciate Him for the dazzling and awe-inspiring miracles Hes wrought in this wonderful masterpiece of His. I can only imagine me without Him, the peak of hopelessness! For the gift of forgiveness and salvation I can never pay for that He gave for free even when I never gave a damn about His incomprehensible love, Ill forever be thankful. He gave me His very best and loved me through my good and my bad, He didnt erase my beautiful future because of a horrible past. I cant even help but give thanks for the many times Hes held me up above the taunts and haunts of the evil ones when they tried to steal what I know, for the many battles I didnt even know was waging against me that He won on my behalf and gave me resounding victories. For every high mountains and low valleys that He stood steadfastly by me I say thank you. For the gifts of a caring father, mother and beautiful siblings, wonderful friends and colleagues that I can also call my family, I deeply appreciate you God, and Im so grateful even for people who have deliberately chosen to be foes, for the ability to love them back like youve loved me when I never merited it. For the beautiful things youve lined up in my future, for the favour, the divine orchestrations, the yeses, and the overdrive of the blessings youve got in store for me Im so thankful. And for the privilege to witness and celebrate another birthday Lord, Im really grateful. Jesus, you love me too much to give me too much I realize.
