Wow what a day, started off great with not a cloud in the sky and 77 very early, as the day proceeded my daughter had a dr appt at 10:30 and the doc didnt show up at the office till 11:15 so now Im running late, get back home at 12:30 and received an email that Ive lost the greatest mentor/manager/boss/friend which is devastating in and of itself, so I proceeded to get my cloths out of the washer, pack and make my bed meanwhile my phone and email start going off which I can not answer any because I have a flight to catch at 3:45 out to Cali, I get packed and now Im about 10 mins late leaving my house to make it to the airport in time so I drive at mock 10 so I am not late and next thing I know Im on the highway in a cloud of smoke so thick I couldnt see shit only to realize the simi next to me blew a tire and now in at mock 10 dodging huge chunks of tire (thank goodness for my cat like reflexes, amazing driving skills and a car that handles like no other:) ), so I make it to the airport parking lot and I get a little break because there is a parking spot not to far from the door so I pull in get my bags out of my car and break a freaking finger nail, shit, go inside and its now 3:05 and my flight takes off at 3:35 so I get all checked in (gotta love small home town airports) and Im handed my boarding passes and cant wait to get on my flight so I can actually relax and WINE down, well actually jack and coke down then I realize that on the longest leg of my flight I am no longer in first class, well damn at least I can Jake and coke down to Atlanta :) So thats been my day but Im still happy and looking forward to a hang over tomorrow hahahaha fooouuurty five (some will understand that humor but Im in need of one or two of those types of nights, lol )
