Wow, what a day this has been for me!!! I get up out of bed and a few minutes later, The Microsoft Store from Oak Brook calls to tell me that my new computer is ready for pick-up!! OK, well and good but I havent even looked into getting an ISP for the thing yet--thats Internet Service Provider. So then I call Comcast and hire them back at a decent discounted rate good for the next year!! So while Im on the phone from Comcast, I get a voice mail message from Asbury Gardens saying now my mom has kidney stones and Dr. Becker has no idea how bad it is and this is what seems to be causing the pain in her side that shes been complaining to me about for the past several weeks!! I kept telling her I was going to get her into Dr. Beckers office but I guess she beat me to it by complaining to all the nurses there!! I could just kick myself for my neglectfulness on this!! Anyway, Dr. Abraham Steinburg now has to be called in on the case; hes a urologist that she has seen in the past. I have a call into his offices voice mail to call me back to set up the soonest available appointment. I dont know a whole lot about this, but Ive heard that if theyre small enough, they can be dissolved with medication and then they can pass with her urine. If theyre too big, then she would have to have surgery and then I dont know if she would survive the surgery as she has Atrial Fibrillation and the valves in her heart are shot as well!! Tomorrow will be very busy as I have to certify with IDES, pick up the internet equipment on my way to Oak Brook to take delivery of the new computer!! The great thing about this for all of you is that you should soon see pictures of me and the people I care about not only here but also a picture of me for those of you who use Linked-In as well!! Please pray not only for mom but also for me as well as I have to bear this difficult burden all alone. Most of you know that I have no wife or children to lean on; only you, my face book friends, can I share this burden with! Good night all!!
