Wow, what a time. Friday I had a HUGE what looked to be a Cyst come up on my left elbow. Red, inflamed.. Saturday morning swelling and redness went down my arm. That was my Uh Oh moment. Out with the Amoxcillin and Cipro! Well, I got the swelling down by that evening but Sunday it grew even more. Today, I called the VA 3 times.. talked to Nurses, Doctor NEVER called back. If it was a Staph infection there was a chance I would have to have been admitted.. it was bad. Anyway, no fever.. hmm.. A Physicians Asst checks it out after a nurse.. then she sends a doctor in. The Doctor says I have an extremely aggressive case of Bursitis. The doctor put me on Bactrim, a sulfa medication. Which is a GOOD thing.. because even though Im now OUT of Amoxcillin & Cipro.. I DO have Bactrim in stock :)
