Wrapping up the regular season tonight with two games. The 1st one had NE Remscos Jordan vs weightbeegones Tory. Trying to cover each other, Jordan lit Tory up for 35 and Tory lit Jordan up for 39. It had more of an All Star game feel to it. Jordan had the help of Ritaccos 15 and Jons 14 as NE Remsco cruised for a 92-68 win. Now game two was a GAME. Miracle Bar was needing a win for a 1st place tie. It was great basketball. Sheehy now playing in his 4th game was starting to show some signs of his old school dominance leading his team with 12 first half points while playing the last 10 minutes with 2 fouls. Ending the half with a score of 26 all. The 2nd half picks up right where it left off. Both teams battling hard for each possession and shots. Nothing easy. Sheehy starting to feel fatigued, Warner picking up his 4th foul, and Adams not having his legs tonight needed someone to step up! That someone was Chris #allihitisthrees Carr who came off the bench to go 3 for 3 on threes!!!!! Even with his threes, Rods Tavern was still down a point and Miracle Bar with the ball. Under a minute left to play, Miracle Bar is trying to run the clock out, 14 seconds left, they shoot, miss, a scramble and Rods comes up with the rebound. They outlet it to Greg Adams who drives, pulls up at the foul line, and for only the 3rd time in the game buries it!!!!! For the 1st lead of the game - 56-55. A turnover by Miracle Bar, Rods inbounds the ball to Sheehy who quickly gives it back to Warner, no foul, clock expires, Rods wins!!!!! What a game!
