Writer friends who are frustrated with the network/studio system, its not you, its them - this is a world in which Tina Feys (by all accounts hilarious and weird) new sitcom starring Ellie Kemper isnt picked up by NBC (who should trust in Fey and Kemper, because SNL/30 Rock/The Office), but finds a home on Netflix, where it will undoubtedly be a hit. Its a new world dawning and dawned (in the case of Orange Is the New Black on the flix and Transparent on Amazon). Also read that Selfies unaired episodes will air on Hulu, which also has done some original programming (like Hotwives of Orlando).
