Writing exercise- Yesterday, a question arose, What have you always wanted to do? And years ago, before I knew what I wanted to do, a question arose What is it that you want to do? When I was told that I could not do what I wanted to do when I was young, because the times had changed, it bothered me--my head got hot and I was angry. It felt as if something slipped out of me. I turned once again to the road that faithfully carried me through the diffcult times. Today, knowing what I want to do and mostly likely cannot, because times have changed, again my head got hot and something felt as if it slipped out of me. I cannot rely on my old friend, even though they would welcome me back just as they always have. Today, today-- There is nowhere to run.
