Wrote this for my friend to think about for her situation. Maybe some of you can relate to her: Everything I ever gave you credit for, is everything you did not live up to... How does it happen, when the person we love who acts as if they love us too reveals their true character, and now you need to just forget what was and accept what is? The truth is this: Not only until life happens, do we truly know someone. It is easy to say I would never do that... Im going to break that cycle I want it all but it is not easy to live up to those words if your real character is not that deep or committed. Water rises to its own level. A person can interact with you on all kinds of depths, but eventually, their depth will evaporate and you will see where they really stand. Its not your fault. It is what they can handle, and if they cant handle life with you, stop jumping into their shallow waters and wondering why you get hurt.
