Wrote this poem this morning after thinking of all he has done! WORTHY IS THE LAMB! Words by Mark Norman Murphy I am pressing toward the mark that has been perfectly laid out for me. No regrets, no need to turn around. My hope is in Christ the solid rock, His path my heart has found. What fear in death to self can be, compared to life he gladly grants me? A clearer vision I find through faiths eyes. Trusting only Christ who came down to mankind. What praise can these mortal lips declare to a creator who lovingly cares? He faced my judgement he paid my sins dues. In my tears I fall to my knees before you Lord. This praise I give to you. Your mercy, Your goodness, Your grace so wide. Your love so vast so deep so high, That reaches further than the heavens walls Yet, knows when a sparrow falls! My heart can feel you all so near, I tremble with a holy fear. Not to turn to run away but to humbly whisper your praise. Worthy the lamb that said no words that could have brought ten thousands angels to save Him if one had emerged. His Words so glorious earths foundation had been birth. When he spoke It is finish! the same ten thousand sang what for ages they had rehearsed. Worthy is the lamb. Worthy to be praise. His faithful love endures forever let the voices of the redeem raise. And when the earth could not hold His grave. It decided it rather praise And made its rocks bow and fall away. Mans final debt had been paid! Christ now awaits the trumpets blast. The redeems homecoming will come at last And angles will have to step aside while the praises of the redeem rise. Worthy is the lamb. Worthy to be praise. His faithful love endures forever let the voices of the redeem raise. Sent from my iPad
