Wrote this today for my son Brandon .... Son, its september 18th and i’ve just voted, its the first time in history, our opinions were noted. Ive seen Great Britain fail, to give people their rights. I made my vote for you son, so you don’t ever have to fight. When you grow up and at high school, you’ll read about the past, After decades of tyranny, we could be free at last. You’ll hear what it was like, youll hear all the stories, about the conservatives, the labour and those bastardin tories. Our nations been robbed, our people abused, for generations, we’ve simply been used. Im not a politician, I’m Scottish and proud, I don’t know how its gona be, but i’ve made my opinions out loud. For years our living has went downhill, I hope for you, my actions have have helped Scotlands free will. The future is unknown, i hope i chose the right way, If i didn’t I’m sorry, but the future was looking grey. The things we were doing, made my blood boil, They murdered thousands of people, just for some oil. I didn’t want that life, not for my son, to be ruled by a government, who make money with a gun. I promise i’ll work hard, to provide the best i can, but remember I tried to put the future in our hands. They control us as best they can with lie after lie, hoping the people they govern will turn a blind eye. NO we said, we don’t want it anymore, It was time to take charge, and open a new door. I wanted our freedom, i even convinced your gran, So when the vote came, we said YES WE CAN. We wanted independence, because we were getting tired, and yes son, we could get it, without a shot being fired. If things go wrong, and times are hard, I want to say sorry, i hope the country isn’t scarred. I didn’t vote because I was stubborn, or my hatred was rife, I wanted what was best, for you and you life. I have no idea what the future will hold, i made my choice on what i know and was told. All i know is this country is a mess, we wanted change so we said yes. You deserve the best in life, the decision is in our hands, I hope its a yes vote, because this country isn’t good enough as it stands.
