Wyatt update- PRAISE GOD!! Post round update... Lung xray looks amazing according to the Dr. There was great improvements in the way the lungs looks since yesterday. He is much more alert then yesterday, communicating better and not as grumpy. His creatine levels are starting to level off so we are very hopeful we will be able to avoid dialysis all together. He has lost a lot of muscle, strength and coordination this time down. It is going to take a while to get him back on his feet. We have him in a sitting position and may try to stand him up later. We will see how the day goes. He is still on the ventilator and we are going to try to wean some of the levels slowly today. He has better lung volume but they are concerned he has lost enough strength that he may have a hard time taking big enough breathes to maintain the lung pressure on his own so may be a long weaning process. Continued prayers for mood, strength, and forward motion even if it is baby steps.
