Wyong joins the fight against Graffiti The Rotary Club of Wyong / Tuggerah , Wyong Regional Chamber of Commerce , Wyong Shire Council and Member for Wyong Darren Webber are joining forces to run “Graffiti Removal Day” a campaign to remove graffiti from the Wyong Area. The Day will provide a great opportunity to highlight the problem of graffiti vandalism and encourage people to get involved in the removal and prevention of graffiti. “Graffiti is a major problem which costs the NSW Government, Local Government, local businesses and households millions of dollars each year.” “The Rotary Club of Wyong / Tuggerah and the Wyong Regional Chamber of Commerce are passionate about combating graffiti, which is why we are proud to be working with the NSW Government, Wyong Shire Council on this this event.” Wyong Regional Chamber of Commerce was delighted to receive the funding to design and build a special purpose Graffiti Removal Trailer through the Community Building Partnership Grant and would again like to thank Member for Wyong Darren Webber for his support. The special purpose Graffiti Trailer is being used today and has proven to be an asset to the Business and local community with Graffiti Removal. We will continue to work closely with Wyong Shire Council, The Rotary Club of Wyong / Tuggerah to establish volunteer graffiti removal squads, this initiative is also an extension of the Chambers “Welcome to Wyong” campaign. We would also like to acknowledge VandalTrak (vandaltrak.au) for accepting the Chamber and Rotary as part of their Graffiti Management Partnerships program. In addition, we would like to acknowledge Delta Electricity for sponsoring the Graffiti Removal Trailer and acknowledge Delta Electricity and The Rotary Club of Wyong / Tuggerah as our Community Partners.
