Many kids throw and catch or kick a ball for hours every day, but there is more to sport than just ability: technical and tactical knowledge, intelligence, athletic ability in other areas, and more. Its why MLB or pro soccer or football teams dont recruit the first kid showing promise off the playground. They need work and smart, focused training as well. xkcd/1414/
