YATHA PRAJA, THATHA CINEMA - I am surprised and pained looking at the mass attitude of people (the esteemed cinema audience). No doubt there are no quality content been done in the industry, as most of the people are least bothered to have a neat cinema experience. Packaging a cinema with finesse is not at all a concept, the people, nor the industry engineers know even now. The answer to the stark decline and incompetency to deliver 100% neat cinema, compared to other industries in the south is apparent, if one can study the intellectual and clean thinking attributes of the audience. The audience get excited on showing any half baked and amateur renditions by few filmmakers who they think they have proven in the industry, be it with the publicity designs or the trailers or any elemental that support the final cinema. People are still confused about what exactly is quality and creativity, as they seldom contemplate about these on a day to day basis. Some times, tears well my eyes helplessly, when I understand the ignorance levels of people and how amateurism gains lime-lite. I am also concerned of the few good audience who really want to see good cinema, but are deprived of the experience because of the lean and in-qualitative mentalities of people. Why do we need others to show the way, when God has given enough inner faculties and infrastructure to make our own golden ways for good cinema??? We need to cultivate pioneering mental qualities and attributes, proper study and a uncompromising stamina to dig deep to make qualitative stuff. I have met techies who are Kannadigas, who tell about their pains, how they cant even stand infront of their non-Kannada counterparts when discussions on cinema takes place. I see internet forums and FB pages of people who laud these amateurists and make them heroes, a mindless fanfare and hero/director worships. Wrong selection of technicians on the basis of budget and not on quality makes it even more worse. Rub your eyes O God people, see with clarity, blink and cleanse the eyes off the impurities you have given refuge all these years, see and select the right ingredients for making vibrant cinema. THIS IS THE NEED OF THE HOUR WHEN IT COMES TO CINEMA. Good morning Folks :)
