//YAY ANOTHER APOCALYPSE ROLEPLAY. Looking for a literate roleplay partner. There can be romance, but smut is a big if because really.. who has time to screw with zombies lurking about? Im not looking for another novella, I just want someone who can make a decent paragraph or two with proper grammar.. uvu. Art and character is mine, yadda yadda. If you want to PM just say so and so on. uvu // A young girl sat at the family table, the news had been broadcasting all day, everyone in a panic over the epidemic that had spread around the world now. They had been locked away in their home, everyone seemed to be falling ill including the young girls parents whom had been riddled with pain for the past week. The girl didnt think too much of it, but she worried for them both. She thought that it would pass, that everything would be okay and everything, including the dying world, would just go back to normal. She would sleep tonight and wake up in the morning like always, and everything would be okay, this world would have been a nightmare that she could forget by lunch time tomorrow. Entering her parents room, she hugged her mother and father, smiling with tears welling in her eyes, Goodnight Mom. Dad. I love you. She choked out, tears began dampening her face as she retired to her room, she locked her door, and made sure her window was locked up tight. Grabbing a tissue from her night stand she wiped her eyes and dried her face, taking a seat on the edge of her bed she tossed the tissue in the trashcan by her desk. Laying down her body trembled, the tears kept resurfacing. Just sleep, and you will wake from this night mare , she repeated to herself in her mind every night before bed, hoping someday it would come true and her parents would be better and the world would be the same place it had always been before the plague happened. Closing her eyes, she began to fade away, sleep taking its course, the girl finally fell asleep, her body stopped trembling and her eyes were dry. Sleep was the only time she felt safe and happy, even though she knew when she awoke, the world would end up making her sad and scared again. The sun began to roll over the hills, peeking through her curtains, the sun hit her face and shined in her eyes. The girl opened her eyes, her mind not yet completely awake. She smiled stretching, before realizing that things did not change, things were the same. She went to her parents room, peeking in. Her heart sank when she noticed they were lying there deceased. The tears welled in her eyes yet again as she let out a wail, crying loudly. She felt so lost and alone. Her mother and father were dead, the world was dying, and now she was as good as dead. Her parents opened their eyes slowly, her heart becoming light, until she realized, those werent her parents anymore. Trembling she walked in to her parents room, making her foot steps light she wrapped her arms around herself some. Mom... Dad... choking out the last words she would say to her parents she smiled the best she could, only to have it falter, I love you.. Goodnight.... She took in a sharp breath reaching for her mothers pistol, doing as he mother asked before she became too ill to speak, she pressed the barrel of the gun to her mothers head, cocking it, and finally pulling the trigger. She fell to her knees, the deed not done yet as her father was left. She couldnt help but let out a cry of agony, tears flowed down her cheeks, dripping on to her legs, her whole body trembling. She gathered up any strength she could, her father, groaning and grabbing out to her, only to have her fall to her knees again. this was the worst, she hated this feeling. She pulled herself up, slowly moving over to her fathers side, her breaths becoming almost has heavy as her heart. She placed the gun to his head, pulling the trigger again. She screamed out, throwing herself over her father, crying on his chest. I love you guys, I Love you guys! She shouted, hoping they could hear hear in heaven. Tears dampened her cheeks and her fathers clothes. Im sorry... Im so sorry.. She choked out, her throat constricting her speech. Her heart was torn, she couldnt stay here, not with her parents rotting away in bed. She went to her room, grabbing her back pack, wiping her face continuously trying to keep her eyes dry. She set the pistol aside, and moved to the kitchen gathering some essentials: canned food, a can opener, and a couple bags of cereal. She even managed to stuff a jug of water and a kitchen knife in with her supply. She searched the house for the first aid, finding it, she grabbed it and placed it in to one of the smaller pouches. Finally she walked back in her room, grabbing the pistol and then moved in to her parents room. The sight was sickening, but she took in a sharp breath moving to her mothers side, grabbing whatever ammo she had left. Walking from the room, she turned back breathing choppily. Bye mom, bye dad. Im going out.... Ill be safe. I promise.. She closed their door, kissing the wood on it, as if kissing them goodbye, for the last time. She stuffed the bullets in to the bag and closed it. she slung it over her shoulders and rummaged under the sink, taking out fuel and slinging it around the house. She grabbed the matches from the counter, and began moving outside. She made a trail safely from the house, tossing the empty gas can in the doorway, lighting up a match, with a heavy heart and tears in her eyes she lit the match tossing it on to the trail, which in turn quickly spread to the home. She stood for a good five minutes, watching the house ablaze, and the fire burn bright. She clasped her hands together as if praying for her familys soul to make it to heaven safely. A couple days passed, Erin had made it far, even though it took a couple car jackings to get her as far as she got. Well, they couldnt be called jackings when the people that used them were technically dead, right? She walked most of the way, however. Keeping a low profile she used her knife more than her gun, and kept her steps light and as quiet as possible. She was in a large city, so she had to be quiet. The city seemed as if everyone had already died and the infected had been shot. She knew she wasnt alone though, she could hear some groaning, and even meat tearing from fresh victims. She felt even worse when she ran in to the occasional body or two, vomiting from the smell and sight. Erin tucked herself away in a large corporate building staying silent, snacking on some baked beans she had opened up from one of the cans. She ate as fast as she could, guzzling down some water to chase the food down. She sighed, taking out her cell phone, trying to get a signal, the battery low. She turned it off, sighing. She would never find a safe house now. She couldnt get a signal, and she didnt even know the numbers for any shelters anyway. She felt lost, but managed to rest through the night after her meal. Upon waking, Erin stood up, walking over to the entrance of the building, peeking out. No infected. She slipped out continuing on her feet to the best of her ability to find a better shelter, and more supplies. She walked for miles, her feet began hurting, the padding on her feet developed calluses. She pushed her short brown hair from her face behind her ear. Erin found a broken down structure, moving in slowly holding her knife close to her chest in case any walkers decided to pop out at her and they werent in a herd. Slowly, she walked across the rubble slipping in to a corner and sliding to sit down. She rubbed her legs, she couldnt take much more of this. If her parents had only held on... She shook her head, if they held on she was sure they would just be in more pain. She didnt want that for the people she loved, at this point she was glad she didnt have too many friends since she was home schooled. Less to worry about. A few hours passed as Erin rested her eyes, but still was very alert in case of any sneak attacks by infected or people who were scared, and crazy. She had heard about the scavengers and how they would gun people down just for their supplies alone. The thought scared her, she was only nineteen, and all alone. Her aim was good, since her father taught her how to shoot, but she feared not being able to shoot fast enough. She perked her head up fast, staying close to the wall holding her knife away from her chest out in front of her. W-whos there?! Her voice wavered, becoming obvious that she was frightened by everything that went on around her, and everything that went on so far. Erin gripped her knife as tight as she could, until her knuckles turned white, her heart beat fast within her chest, so fast it felt like it would hop out of her chest any minute. She chewed at her bottom lip, tearing the loose skin from it anxiously.
