YES! It’s November and we are now in my favorite time of the year. For the past several years I have been doing the Thanksgiving challenge the month of November. The challenge is to post in your status one thing a day that you are thankful for. This challenge has been one of those definitive things that I can look back on and say “my life began to change when I did that.” Taking an entire month to purposefully live a thankful life did so much to open my eyes to what I feel is important in life, what is worth holding on to and what should be let go, who are those that I consider important and should work harder to cultivate my relationships with, who are those that are holding me back from being the person God meant for me to be, and most importantly how much an attitude change can alter the direction of your life. Living a thankful life takes work, effort, and a new perspective. You have to shove the “me” perspective out and switch your perspective to someone other than yourself….God. So, I am doing it again this year and I encourage others to join me. Try it, you will be glad you did. I am not tagging anyone nor am I encouraging anyone else to tag people in this challenge. Do it because you WANT to do it.
