YES WE CAN! As Nigeria mark its 53 years as a independent Nation today, u may be asking; what does freedom mean when as the sixth largest oil-producing nation on earth, our citizens groan under megawatts of darkness? When we have our youths, including graduates, roaming the streets in serch of elusive jobs? A nation with over 70% of its 165million people live on less than a dollar a day? But amidst all these, we must not, never, lose hope. The good news: we can have a nation of our dream. We only need to play our parts. The leaders and the led. Its simple: let leaders lead well and the follower follow well. Lets hold those in authority accountable for their acts of omission or commission. Lets be active and participating citizens. Lets not resign to fate. Let us collelectively monitor governance. Lets demand transperancy and service from men in power. YES WE CAN!
