YISAU NEWS UPDATE: A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Daniel Dino Melaye has official declares his intention to contest for the Senate in the year 2015. Former Kogi Lawmaker made his intention clear today during Ijumu Development Movement meeting at Iffe-Ijumu, Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State. Although, Dino did not mention any political party under which he will contest but there are strong indications that Dino might pursue his political ambition under the platform of the yet-to-be-register All Progressives Congress (APC). Dino said he will not fail his people if he is given the mantle. With the said development, Dino is expected to slug it out with the former National President, Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ), Senator Smart Adeyemi who is currently representing Kogi West Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber who also doubled as Chairman, Senate Committee on Federal Capital Terrtiary.
