***YOU ASKED FOR IT, YOU WORKED FOR IT, YOU GOT IT - AND THE BIG DAY HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!! Our new 10 man boat will be arriving in Marietta this afternoon at Indian Acres Boat Ramp at approximately 5:30 PM. We need paddlers to remove the boat from her transport trailer and take her on her Maiden Voyage down the Muskingum to the boat dock. If you are able to participate, please be at Indian Acres at 5:00. Do remember to go to the boathouse first to get your paddle and PFD, and do arrange shuttle transportation from the boathouse to the ramp/from the ramp to the boathouse. (Those leaving their vehicles at Indian Acres while they paddle to the boat house will need transportation back to their vehicle at Indian Acres.) Hope to see you there for this exciting event! ***RACE WEEK SCHEDULE REMINDER: There are just two practices left! Racers are asked to attend both, unless absolutely unable. Those practices are: Wednesday, July 9 - arrive 6:30 PM, warm up 6:45, on the water from 7 - 8 PM (this practice will follow the Rec Group practice) and Thursday, July 10 at our regular time. ***Rec Group - practice Wednesday, July 9 is at your regular time. Arrive 5:30 PM, warm up 5:45, on the water 6 - 7 PM. THERE IS NO PRACTICE ON SATURDAY, JULY 12 (race day.) ***Racers, remember to **SIGN OUT** the PFD and paddle you will take from the boathouse that youll use for the race Saturday.
