YOU & GOD HOW ARE THINGS WITH YOU & HIM? DAY 2 07/09/14 John 7:17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. Good morning to all! This is a continuation of my introduction started yesterday 07/08/14. It is quiet lengthy, so it might be over several days. I don’t won’t it to be so long every day that you feel like you are reading a novel. Let’s pray. Dear Lord, I thank you for the opportunity to minister to others. I pray today this will land in front of the ones that need it the most. I pray that I will continue to be the clean useful & obedient vessel you called me to be that I may be able to point them in the right direction. I pray that all is received in love & concern. I pray now for those that are hurting from whatever it may be. I have friends that are struggling with family illness. I ask that you give them strength to endure & ease of pain. I ask for strength for those are trying to draw close to you. I pray for those who are lost and have not accepted you as personal savior yet, that they will before it is eternally too late. I ask you give comfort to those that have recently lost love ones. I pray that you peace to those that are in the middle of a storm, the peace that only comes from you. I pray that your people would humble themselves and pray. Thank you for your many many blessings in Jesus name I pray. I will speak the truth based on the AUTHORITY OF GOD’S HOLY WORD THE BIBLE! As I said earlier, but in LOVE. Some of it may be hard to take, but tough love is hard some time. That is the test of how much some one really loves you. They love you enough to tell you the truth even when it hurts & even at the risk of harming the relationship they have with you. I DO NOT & WILL NOT JUDGE, OR CONDEMN BUT I WILL NOT DODGE OR SUGAR-COAT THE TRUTH OF GOD’S WORD! I also want you to know when I quote scripture; it will primarily be from the King James Version. I do however from time to time use other versions. I have my preferences, & don’t want to debate uses of the different versions. I am here to HELP not debate. However I want you to feel free to ask questions. If I don’t know the answer I will try & find the answer or tell you where to go to find it. I don’t won’t it to be just trivial fun-to- know but helpful need to know questions. I want to address, as best as I can, to people that may at this point not even believe and accept God’s word as truth. Please before you abandoned ship. Let me first ask you if you have read his word? If you have not, then I would challenge you to at least read it before you disregard it as truth and not take someone else word for it not being true. I don’t even want you to take my word for it being true. I want you to read it for yourself, and then come to your own conclusion. I will even make it easy for you, you don’t have to read the Old Testament, although ALL OF GOD’S WORD IS IMPORTANT AND RELAVANT!! With the exception of the book of Psalms & the book of Proverbs in the Old Testament. You don’t even have to read the entire New Testament although I wish you would. At a bare minimum please read the 4 gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke & John. Then read Acts, Romans & Revelation. After you have done this then come back to me & tell me you don’t believe it is truth. Now what I want to do is to give you some background on who I am. Some of you know some but not all, & there may be someone reading this that is has been passed along to that doesn’t have a clue that I am or anything about me. The other reason I want you to have this information is for when I share a lot of the things I have to share to be of a help to you, you will know I have been where you are, been through the fire. I am not just someone that is standing on the outside looking in & not knowing what you are facing and how you are feeling. I want you to know, I not only have the TRUTH OF GOD’S WORD TO SHARE, WHICH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT, but life experiences of my own to better understand what you are facing, and how I can best help you through it. Who am I? I AM A SINNER SAVED BY GRACE!!!! That is not just a cliché but truth. I am a 55 year old former pastor. I resigned my last church as of July 28, 2013. I am not currently pastoring, but still ministering & serving where I am. I am a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church in Clanton, Alabama. I do not currently hold any position in the church. I assist my pastor when & where can. I fill in for him when he ask, I am very active in our men’s ministry & try to help in the other ministries of our church, as God so leads me.
